CHRYSLER AND FIAT YET TO BECOME ONE

Following the major speculation among everyone as to the coming together or rather merging of two giant car makers, namely Chrysler and Fiat, now comes the report that they are not yet amalgamating.

The reputed CEO of Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group LLC, Sergio Marchionne stated it not long ago to reporters. But it is perhaps too soon as to guess what is going on in that mind of his. For once, he may as well be looking at taking some precautions.

Car Crash Claims are one of the leading personal injury compensation specialists in the UK. 100% no win no fee.

This is still not a bad idea at all, considering the poor condition of Chrysler today. Fiat as of now owns a good 20% stake in Chrysler, once Chrysler goes public; Sergio is looking at increasing this stakes to up to as much as fifty percent.

For once, the willingness as shown from the side of the current CEO in refurbishing the state of Chrysler to its former glory is definitely laudable. In the mean while, the recent impressive performance of 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee means there is indeed a good chance of Chrysler coming back from the woods and onto the main road again, in the reckoning.

Keeping the workings of Fiat and Chrysler as separate would be a good idea. For once, this would help the two different brands to deal with their own different base of customers separately giving better focus.

It has again not been long after, since the federal government bailed out Chrysler in 2009. People were quite furious then. Since now the company is very slowly but surely recovering, it would be too much of a rush for the merger to take place. It may just end up getting the companies negative PR from the ever hungry media.

CAR AND BIKE OWNERS FLOCK FOR A BREAKDOWN COVER

The winter season this year in 2010 has been absolutely harsh. All the more, for bikers and car drivers who have found treading the roads to be an asking task and full of danger at that. Even the ones who have fitted winter tyres are still in danger of meeting with a breakdown of their vehicles.

AA, the agency that provides with insurance covers for the same has seen an ever increasing number of people coming in for a breakdown cover.

A good five hundred miles of road area will be covered by millions of drivers over the break. This is only bound to increase the number of people to be left stranded with their cars in a poor condition. But major problems are with the car starting in the first place, rather than people getting stranded in the middle of nowhere. This is where even the minimal £20 a year, the price of a basic cover, is still worthy enough.

Then there are the more expensive covers which cost a big £200. But these are to be opted for by people who are looking at getting the complete package comprising of many things; Garage call-out charge, back up while travelling abroad among others.

There are still others who pay a good £350 for a European breakdown cover that takes care of all the vehicles. Then again people would do well to shop from the best by comparing between the various providers and seeing which one of them is giving the best of deals and at the most reasonable of prices.

AA, RAC, Auto-National, Green Flag, Auto Aid, GEM Motoring Assist and Britannia Rescue are some of the more popular names that provide with a range of breakdown insurance covers. Auto Aid recently topped a report for giving the best level of customer satisfaction among the others. A poll had most of the people voting in favor of Auto Aid.

The winter season can be trying for the people. This is truer when it comes to travelling. Getting stick in the snow and missing out on some very important event is common place during this time. Add to this, the winter season this year has been the coldest in the past twenty years.

Accidents and road blocks are not unexpected. In the mean time people who do not have a breakdown cover, even the most basic one, can actually end up suffering more than those who have one. Right from waiting for road side assistance to spending a lot of money, problems without a breakdown cover are simply galore.

Any given breakdown cover will take care of onward travel. One may have help coming to take his car or bike to the nearest garage. Consider a few things before you go for cover here. How often do you travel, technical ability for car maintenance, dependability of your current vehicle and the age of your current vehicle.

These things once considered, one may simply go ahead and get his ice breakdown cover.

Since the Christmas holiday season it is, there are many companies that have actually gone out of their way giving unbelievable offers on the covers. There are great discounts; the covers are redeemable for one free roadside recovery.
BreakdownChoices.co.uk: that was launched only in the year 2005, offers an array of covers from the many different providers. People may also go ahead and compare between them. But apart from assuring that a person gets the best of covers, community features, guides and FAQs are all neatly listed on the website for the people to benefit and gain from.
